The Porsche Taycan

Cameron Hill will be loaned a new Porsche Taycan for a year as a reward for winning the 2021 Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia crown.

The Taycan is described as “the world’s first true performance EV in 2022”.

His family team CHE Racing Team also loaned a Porsche Cayenne for the 2022 season following its triumph in the Porsche Team Championship.

Hill, who will compete for Triple Eight Race Engineering in the 2022 Super2 series, was one of many drivers to win awards.

“During what has been one of the most fiercely competitive seasons in the history of the Championship, we are delighted to reward and recognize the performance of our champions in each class in the best possible way, handing over the keys of our brand new Taycan for one year, ”said Toni Andreevski, Motorsport and Sales Director of Porsche Cars Australia.

“The Taycan heralds a new era of luxury and performance for the Porsche brand and is not only the world’s first true performance electric vehicle, but perhaps the most exciting car ever to come out of Germany since the original 911. in 1964.

“A special mention must also go to our partners, without whom the recognition of all the achievements of our drivers and teams could not be celebrated in the Porsche way.

“We wish all our teams, drivers and partners a good festive break and we look forward to seeing them again in 2022.”
