Life Time 2022 event slate focuses on running and off-road cycling

Life Time has released its 2022 lineup of sporting events. Comprised of running, triathlon and cycling, the events span 11 US states and see the race organizer shift gears in its expansion of running events and cycling in particular.

After being a major player in triathlon, the 2022 event portfolio is now more focused on marathons, half-marathons, mountain bikes and gravel races.

Recently announced for 2022 is the Life Time Grand Prix race series, which features six cycling races and offers a US$250,000 prize purse to winning athletes.

  5. June 4: Garmin UNBOUND Gravel presented by Craft Sportswear, Kansas
  6. June 18: Life Time Leadville Trail Marathon and Heavy Half presented by La Sportiva, Colorado
  7. June 25: Lutsen 99er Cycling Stages, Minnesota
  8. July 9: Life Time Crusher in the Tushar presented by The Creamery, Utah
  9. July 9: Life Time Silver Rush 50 Run presented by La Sportiva, Colorado
  10. July 10: Cycling Silver Rush 50 MTB courses, Colorado
  11. July 16: Cycling Tahoe Trail MTB courses, California
  12. July 24: Verizon New York City Triathlon, New York

The company’s events are also an opportunity to “change the lives of America’s children” through the Life Time Foundation’s charitable slots program. It allows athletes to bypass entry lotteries by agreeing to raise money for the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which works with school districts across the United States to improve food nutrition school and get the kids moving.
