Voice of Formula One returns to Australia for a live show
Famous Formula 1 broadcast personality David Croft returns to Melbourne for a special appearance on the live show ‘Ask Crofty’.
The voice of modern Formula 1 commentators will host a live broadcast in Melbourne five days before the Formula 1 Heineken Australian Grand Prix 2022.
‘Ask Crofty’ will be conducted alongside fellow driver and former driving ace Martin Brundle, with the duo sharing information about the famous sport, as well as highlights from their time in the paddock together.
For years, the slogan ‘Ask Crofty’ has featured on the cover of Sky Sports, as well as on social media and online, as a way for racing fans to engage with the famous commentator.
The 2022 season marks Croft’s 17th year as an F1 commentator, while Brundle enjoyed great success in the sport with 158 race starts, beginning his F1 career in 1984.
The live show will take place at the Plenary Theater in Melbourne on Tuesday, April 5. Tickets are currently on sale to the general public via the Ticketek website and app.
The first round of the 2022 Formula 1 season kicks off in Bahrain on Friday March 18, with Melbourne losing its usual season opener spot. The Australian Grand Prix will take place in Melbourne on Sunday April 10 at Albert Park.
